Custom work

Where the generator stops, a person carries on.

Some identities cannot be generated, and pretending otherwise wastes everybody's time. Custom work is hand-directed design: bespoke marks, artwork you already own brought into the system properly, and identities built entirely to brief.

When custom is the right call

The mark has to mean something specific

A story, a place, a founder, a piece of history that has to be legible in the shape. Generation is good at range and poor at a single required meaning.

You are bound by an existing system

A parent brand, a franchise standard, or a partner's guidelines that the new identity has to sit inside without breaking.

It is going somewhere unusual

Embroidery, signage, packaging with real production constraints, or anything where the mark has to survive a manufacturing process rather than a screen.

You already have something worth keeping

A mark with equity in it that needs bringing up to standard rather than replacing.

Bringing artwork you already have

If you hold rights in a mark or a sketch, it can be brought in and made usable: redrawn cleanly, vectorised, given colourways and a type system, and carried through mockups and a brandbook like anything else. What it cannot be is somebody else's logo. Uploads you describe as inspiration are read as words and the image is discarded; only artwork you confirm is yours can be redrawn.

What may and may not be uploaded

Describe what you need.

If it is something we should not take on, you will be told that rather than sold to.
